This unique composition grants them excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, and good thermal and electrical conductivity. The material boasts a moderate tensile strength of 90–130 MPa and a Brinell hardness of about 35 HB. Since Aluminium 1100 is non-heat-treatable, it maintains stable mechanical properties and can be easily rolled into thin foils while still being flexible, strong, and durable for industrial and packaging needs.
